Every Master Lost Sector has an Exotic drop rate labelled 'Common', but judging by my results (and possibly others) it doesn't seem that way whatsoever. There are 2 main problems with this: Bungie doesn't tell us what 'Common' means in the world of Destiny, and leaves it up to the player base to figure out the exact numbers of what 'Rare ...
No its just solo. Unfortunately the RGN is pretty bad. Legendary lost sector rng is bad. Id do master if at all possible. Nope, you can die as many times as you want but it is all down to rng. I have done platinum runs many multiple times on MASTER Sepulcher lost sectors around 40+ times over 3 days and ZERO exotic. Then on Quarry I can run that in 2-3 minutes on master and even skip champions and still get exotics, like 5 exotics in 10 runs, so it is 100% BS that you have to have platinum runs for a chance at exotics. 1.
