I am currently a DirecTV subscriber and a FIOS Internet customer. I have held off on switching to FIOS TV in the past because of the lack of the MLB Extra Innings package. I recently read that Verizon has signed a contract to include MLB Extra Innings in their programming offerings so now I'm considering switching to FIOS TV.

Does anyone know why I would get a message on the MLB channels to which we subscribe saying "Your FIOS TV is working. The content provider is not currently sending programming for this channel." I've contacted support but they were unable to shed any light on the issue.
