The issues started getting worse again. Right up until the engine limped and threw a P0090 code that will not clear. I did not get any other codes. No low or high rail pressures. I have battery + voltage on the the purple wire going to the FPR seems like 2.5 volts across the purple/yellow wires.

I kept getting code U0105, and the ECU fuse would blow every time I would turn the key. Cranks, no start. I isolated it to the wiring harness, and sure enough there was a spot where a metal bracket had worn through the wiring harness.

What I would do is check the wiring from the coolant sensor all the way back to the main harness. Use a multimeter and verify you have continuity from the connector at the sensor all the way back to the main bail connector that sits above the hardline coolant hose (the one that connects to your thermostat housing).Got everything back together and it's in limp mode. The DTC sets if the FRP current is not between 50-1600mA. A wire may have been broken during your repair, or possibly smashed under something (grounding out).

I changed it by removing serp belt, ac compressor, removing the two main plugs that rest above the hardline to the upper rad hose. No problem changing them out but I put everything back together and I immediately get a P0090 code.LBZ unshakeable p0045 p0090. So, got my first duramax and have been chasing a turbo issue. Got some codes and ended up pulling the turbo and giving the vanes a good deep clean, put it back together and they were nice and smooth. I still had the codes so I swapped the VPS and the solenoid with known good ones.
