The first (please don't do this in 4 player it ruins the game) is running dual launchers with explosive ascensions. This is a very easy build to execute, your best weapon options are gonna be tiger cannons and bone dragons. Just take all the generally good ascensions as well as the good explosive ascensions.

Best build for tanking is 1000% on Bird. You can take all his blue tree talents and get his kick on such a short cooldown (or outright reseting the cooldown) that you'll never run out of armor. For scrolls, the one that prevents the corosion effect on you is a must (i forgot if it's Corosion Shard or Corosion Enthusiast).
