Yes, the gun is "more" P229 than P228, but the whole point is that this is supposed to be "true-er" to the military M11. And that means P228 grips. It's what every picture of the M11 online is wearing. It also has 2 Sear Springd, with the "purple" tinted version having the lightest tension.
