This is a known problem with the following solution. When the screen goes dark, stop the car. Turn off the ignition and open the door. Wait 10 minutes with the door open. Restart the car. This is a soft reboot for the Mylink system. I guess this is a good fix on a nice sunny day while driving on a country road.
