Are the holes where the weld is or part of the Winchester heel? I have a WRA M1 with some little marks from the forging but I've never seen an original WRA M14 receiver.

I just received my JRA this past Wednesday. The only magazine that locked into placed without forcing it was the one included with my M14. JRA is a great choice and the 19.25" is nice vs. the SAI Scout length as you can remove the gas system without taking off the flashhider!
