The Kimpro will protect against corrosion better than the bluing. Also, if you like all black and all steel, the Super Carry Ultra HD is another option. Other than that they are very much similar. I have tried two brands of factory ammo and it shoots that fine, no problems. These reloads have been through a factory sizeing die (Lee), and fit perfectly in a wilson case ...A Kimber is kinda like a box of cracker jacks, you never quite know what you are going to get when you open the box. I have a Kimber Pro TLE II that I had quite a bit of problems with out of the box. It eventually broke in nicely, and it continues to be my EDC. But the next 1911 will not be a Kimber.
