Jan 10, 2023 · I recently received 2 Polaris Xplorer 300's with very low compression. One a 96 the other a 98. I tore the 98 apart and replaced the crank seals and did a top end. I also bench tested the oil pump and it worked fine. After reassembly I filled it with premix and it started and ran fine. When I got it it did not run, but with alot of work I have gotten it running but not very well, or not in my opinion. Fist thing I noticed is the electric start did not work,I found the power wire broken at the starter, new terminal fixed that.
