Lefever Nitro Special Side by Side .410 ShotgunManufactured in 1925. The bottom of the barrels are stamped with a "2" and a "4" which stands for modified and full choke. The chambers measure 3 inches and have an extractor. Mounted on a multi-point checkered walnut forearm and semi-pistol grip stock with serrated hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull is 13 3/8 inches.

Some of these guns will have the grade stamped on the stock grip, under the grip cap. The post-LAC Ithaca Lefevers don't have grades. The model (most frequently "Nitro Special") is stamped on the barrels. There were two other Grades not mentioned.
