Actually, installing a softer spring will have the opposite effect. With a softer spring the slide will recoil at a much higher velocity and when it hits the end of its travel she'll really feel it. Also, it will be much harder on your gun. Learning how to rack the slide properly is the right answer.

Back in January 2018 when Sig pulled the first release of the P365 one of the changes made to the P365 was the Recoil Spring along with the addition of the X-Ray3 Sights. As far as an additional change to the recoil spring I am sure that it occurred but I am not sure of the exact date.
