I had an NRA 12 round mag that would 'stall' after about 4 shots, but the problem went away with some shooting. Had another mag, 10 round, that would stall after about 3 shots, and also was extremely hard to seat against a closed slide, and the slide very hard to rack. Sent that one back to SIG, and the replacement has been fine. Moon

There is about 2 millimeters of movement in the extension. It is not a snug secure fit like the 10 round mags that come with the gun. I know this because the internal parts are the same and when the dimples are removed, they become 12 round mags that function fine. The 10 round mags for my P365 are hard to load the last few rounds, but the mag body is shorter than the 12 round mags and they are maxed out at 10. My first P365 came with a 12-round mag and a couple of 10-round mags. I later started carrying the XL and then changed the P365 to an X. So no, 10-round mags won’t work in an XL grip module. However, as mentioned above, you can buy base plates to put on the 10-rounders that will allow them to fit in the XL grip module.
