Sep 24, 2008 · I have a Bisley Hunter in .44 and a BH in .357 (both SS). I have sighted in loads for both for deer season. The .357 is a XTP 158gr. at 1300fps for 25yrds. and less ranges, and .44 has 260gr. WFNGC at about 1100fps for shots to 50yrds. (my self limit). I'm hunting out of one of those port-a-potty like permanent blinds. How do these two cartridges compare? What are the similarities and differences between .44 Magnum and .357 Magnum?
