MSR is probably my favorite sniper in the game. New found love for the MSR. It kinda introduced me to long range marksmanship. I toyed with the M82 brute force, blasting throu everything. And even took up the G28 and SVD quite a bit. I was never much for Sniping. I wouldn’t call myself much of a marksman, I typically play with M4A1s and MP5s.

Pick the gun you like the most. Picking the scope is kind of backwards. I use a tac50 or m82. They have similar stats with the tac having more initial range. Find the gun, then play with the scope to find your sweet spot. I use the 6x scope, with an acog style mounted on a m17 for close/mid range shots. 2. Tac 50 for me. I always used the Tac-50. Simply because of the range you can get out of it in comparison to some of the others. Especially running the sharpshooter class. I believe my furthest kill is 660 meters with it. Just curious what the general consensus is on best long range gun in Breakpoint. If wanting to grind XP, just grab a standard light Helo, fly around the city zones and set your AI teammates to aggressive. They will will basically just keep more or less 1-shotting enemies and rapid-fire the UGVs. Just looking ideas. I usually run LMG on Engineer (Fixit), SMG on Panther (Fury), and SNR on Sharpshooter (Vasily).

Pretty much all if you know what you are doing my personal favorites is either scorpion evo, mpx, 416 (or 516), or 553 marksman variant. Try something new and you'll find out what you like.
