The way they mill the plate system it is almost as deep as the milled into the slide dots. CZC uses locating posts so you don't have to worry about the screws sheering. I shipped the slide to them Monday before last, they got it on Wednesday and they sent me a return tracking email on Saturday. I received it back today. It took them all of a week to Mill and Cerakote the slide and get it back to me.Getting it milled will have the optic sit lower on the slide vs. the optics ready version. It keeps bore axis as low as possible which is better for obtaining the dot faster but we're really cutting hairs here.
