The one that is extra is a weaker spring. If you’re having extracting issues use that. They make an even weaker one on eBay for like $8. I had to run that with my suppressor and subs and had zero issues. I just figured out one spring is shorter…I’m assuming the shorter one is the “softer” spring.

Great little 22lr pistol. I wasn't expecting much at this price but wow it surprised me. It has a very good weight for a 22 pistol. Zero flaws in craftsmanship of internal and external parts. A couple of years ago, Chet replaced his aging Browning Buckmark with a GSG 1911 .22. He appreciated the overall design and workmanship of the GSG 1911 .22 but also recognized that the guide rod could be improved, and accessories for the gun were lacking. It will eject the shell but as the bolt closes back it catches the spent shell in the bolt, mostly pinching the front of the shell closed, and jamming. GSG Firefly first time out. Picked up the Firefly from Brownells in November on a sale for $160. Took it to the range for the first time today. I found my thumb interfered with the slide lock on last round and had to move it a little out to avoid negating the feature. Once I repositioned my thumb I didn't have that issue any longer.

I although have had really no issues with any ammunition I've ran through mine (about 5,000 rounds or so) other than the occasional stove pipe , failure to feed every once and a while you get a dead rimfire (.22lr ammo, it happens) and failure to extract is rare unless it is not clean Rimfire.
