Monk Archtype has a bunch of other cool tools (mostly ki spells) but there is plenty worth checking out. As an aside, Stumbling stance is by far the best melee Rogue attack option. Rogues have many skills, so having high stealth, deception and intimidation will be easy enough. It is doable. Our ranged rogue has fun and its our skill monkey and likes range even though in melee he does more damage. But yeah, the optimazed ranged classes are fighter and ranger.
