Should still be an easy win if you put everything else in your favor. One with guns. A fleet of about 100 corvettes with all level 5 tech can pretty much destroy anything. That usually hovers around 20k ish. For sure use some of the rare mineral buffs. Or take out the federation. Then you can take your time with Shard.

So Apparently my first Relic World happened to be where Shard woke up and decided she wanted to live there. How strong is she? :( I got lucky and Earlier in the years (2223) got The Grand Herald Titan. So Curious if I can even challenge the mighty Shard yet.. or need to wait with the new update.. Use excessive corvettes with afterburners and torpedoes since it's not like the dragon has point defense. Take a solid 40-50k and you'll be fine. 20k fleet power minimum. Talk to the science enclave pay them for a damage bonus. Also look up the wiki and build a counter fleet.

I sent my fleets to the system immediately when it appeared --distance 7 hyperplanes. I didn't get half-way there before I got notice it turned on the colony because I didn't challenge it.
