Cadillac cue not working.

Nov 10, 2015 · Hi, I own a 2013 Cadillac XTS and ever since I got it, I experienced no problems with the CUE system until a few days ago when all of a sudden the lower half of the screen is totally unresponsive (I touch it, nothing!). Motion sensors appear to work just fine. I tried the unplugging of the battery thing, nothing. Locate the Cadillac “Settings” menu, and select the “General” option. Scroll down to the “Personalization” section, and select the “Restore Default Settings” option. But, I noticed that the door seems to open when my finger tips are warmer vs cooler. I guess I could use touch sensitive. However, the device has to be able to detect the touch. I suspect some inanimate objects may not work. If the object is at the same or less temperature than the device, it may not recognize the touch. But, that is just a guess.

The motor was not running. That lead me to the pump as the problem. I also read that the pump might be a warranty item under the Voltec coverage. That did not work out. The Dealer quoted me around $450 for the repair. I bought the pump from OEMPartSource.com $175 with shipping, about 6 work days deliver. The repair took less than 3 hours.

After I got home I was trying everything out and everything seems to be working perfectly if not even better than before.
