Part 1 features many of the regular Gunsmoke citizens that appear sproadically. Olan Soule once again plays the town barber. Charles Seel appears in his recurring role as the telegraph operator Barney Danches. Of course, Glenn Strange appears as Sam Noonan, the Long Branch bartender.
