The solution that has worked for me 100% of the past four years is to use Chrome for Yahoo Mail and use Edge for ATT.net Mail. Yes, it's inconvenient to use two browsers, but it always works. First open the Edge browser and log into your att.net or other non-yahoo mail account. Save that password when Edge asks you.
