A traditional cake doughnut is okay. The Mochinut has a completely different texture than these two types of doughnuts. It is soft and chewy. If I had to pick a doughnut type most similar to it, I would say it is like a Krispy Kreme doughnut in terms of how light and airy it is. The frosting holds most of the flavor in the Mochinut.

Finally made it to Mochinut's newest location in Lincoln Park. The moment you walk in you it gives you a happy feeling.
