When you compare the Sarcophagus to the Kar'fi and JHDC, I'd say that it is a better balanced ship (in terms of Tac / Eng / Sci) with useful specialist seating; it works well as a beam array / turret ship. The problem is that the drop mechanism inflates its EC price when compared to cross-faction ships.
